My mother was a simple woman with a noble soul! ,,mother Ala - this is how everybody knew her, and this because as soon as you knew her you felt that you could be yourself, without being criticized or judged! She was near me all the time! She gave me the freedom of being myself and at the same time the peace of mind that she, my mother, is near me and even if sometimes I make mistakes in my pursuits, she taught me to have courage and have no regrets!
She loved life and the merciless disease took her away from us much too soon! We learned from her that “to exist” is not the same with “to live”!
She dedicated the last 14 years of her life raising her grandson, my son! Both me and my son definitely knew what “being loved” means – we were loved with all her heard, unconditionally by our beloved “Ala mother” – we were blessed with this precious gift!
I was with her when she left! She could not speak but, I know she knew I was there holding her hand! Before she died, a single tear fell down her cheek...I now realize that was her way of saying goodbye!
We will always love her with all our hearts, our beloved mum and grandma!
Love you mum, rest in peace!

,,mum, I miss you so much! I ache for you, without your love the world has become more unsafe and cold! Each day I’m afraid not to be wrong, but I try hard to listen to my heart, as you taught me! I hope you can be proud of me! I love you!
