To keep alive the memory of someone dear to you died, to provide friends from abroad an easy way to bring a final tribute, to provide a chance to his/her descendants to learn about he/she. On the other hand, new research shows that maintaining bonds with the dead person: photos, listening to a favorite songs, evoking memories with mutual friends, lighting a candle at various events and major holidays an so on, make the mourning process to be less painful and more healthy.

How to write a testimonial?

If you personally knew the deceased and want to write a testimonial, you find into deceased memorial page the Testimonials section there you have two options: Read testimonials and Send testimonial. Your testimony will not be shown until after the account administrator will approve it.

What can I do if I find offensive a message that comes with a lighted candle?

The visitors of To-Eternity.com may light candles accompanied by a message, however you, in the capacity of account manager, may decide what to do with these messages: leave them visible or erase them - very easy, with a single click!

What if a witness seems offensive or inappropriate?

Testimonials are not visible to visitors before your approval, in capacity of account manager. In your account, at Testimony section, you have two possibilities: Remove or Show - you decide!

Do I have to have an account so I can light a candle or write a testimonial?

You don’t need to have an account to be able to light a candle! Anyone who wishes may light a candle and send a message! It’s free to express your sympathy and condolences but, is important to keep a decent tone and respectful attitude to the memory and name of the deceased without bringing any prejudice the deceased memory or to his descendants.

What do I have to do If I have several dead persons whom I’d like to create a memorial? Do I need an account for each one of them?

If you have more persons for whom you would like to create a memorial – you will find on your account management page a link styled ADD A MEMORIAL – where you can create other memorials without the obligation to open another account!

How do I post an ad and how much it cost ?

Submiting an ad to deaths, commemorations or funeral services do not cost anything. It is free.
